Why I do this

Another world is something we practice—and build.

The tools we inherit can connect us while leaving people with less say over their knowledge, relationships and decisions. I believe we can design differently: start from lived experience, make room for more voices, and build systems people can shape and trust.

Before settling on a direction, I make room to imagine, sense and work through different possibilities. I explore what they could mean in people’s lives and which questions deserve a closer look.

We’re designing around a simple principle: each person or group decides what to share and retains authority over its own decisions.

Ecstatic World

First Steward

I started Ecstatic World as a cultural project connecting local dance communities. We’re beginning with a community-built map of Ecstatic Dances, so dancers can find gatherings, organizers can keep them visible, and knowledge can travel between regions without flattening what makes each scene its own.

I spent five years at EY (Ernst & Young), moving from systems analysis into product leadership. I worked with enterprise data and integration challenges, privacy-conscious technology and teams responsible for turning complicated ideas into working systems. That training still matters to how I design and deliver.

3 years The open field · Nomadic South America · Southeast Asia

During three years of living nomadically, including extended stays in Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina, I built relationships in artist, movement and regenerative communities while going deeper into the decentralized web, sovereign technology and agentic knowledge systems. I became involved in commons efforts and explored how technology could support cooperation while keeping people in control of their knowledge and decisions.

Those experiences changed what I pay attention to when designing: how people build trust, how knowledge moves, and whether the people using a system can meaningfully shape it.

Today, I bring that experience into my work in product and systems architecture. I help teams clarify what is worth building and design how its information, tools and decisions fit together.

Conception, design and technical direction of data and integration systems

I help organizations understand how information, relationships and permissions work across their systems—and design what should happen when those systems meet. That can mean mapping what already exists, co-designing data models and decision boundaries, specifying connections to existing tools, and guiding implementation with the people who will use it.

Five years in enterprise technology consulting, from systems analysis to product leadership, taught me how to work across technical teams, stakeholders and delivery constraints. Today I apply that experience to knowledge and coordination systems shaped with the communities they serve.

Work with me

  • I work with teams, organizations and networks on how they use knowledge, make decisions and coordinate shared work. My contribution can include consulting, product direction and systems architecture, shaped around what the situation calls for.
  • We start with what you’re trying to do, what already works, and what needs to change. From there, we explore what existing tools can support and where something new is worth building.
  • If there’s a fit for paid work, we’ll agree on a clear scope and fee before it begins. I also welcome conversations about cultural projects and commons collaborations.
